Who keeps your data

PaintedApp, LLC, 1327 SE Tacoma St #394, Portland, OR 97202, is the controller of the personal data The Hoard collects. Write to support@painted.app about anything here.

What we collect, and why

Only what a sale needs: your name, email, phone, delivery address, what you bought, and for a commission the monogram and year you chose. We use it to make and deliver the canvas, to send the receipt and tracking, and to keep the accounts the law requires. The legal basis is the contract you made when you paid, and our legal obligation to keep tax records.

What we do not collect

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Browsing it tells us nothing about you beyond the request logs our host keeps. The public ledger shows the piece, number, size and date of each sale, and never a name.

Who else handles it

• Stripe, Inc. takes the payment and keeps the record of it, with your name, email, phone, delivery address and card details. We never see the card.
• Prodigi Group Ltd prints the canvas and delivers it, so it receives your name, delivery address, email and phone, and the edition number.
• Resend, Inc. sends the receipt and the shipping email to your address.
• Vercel, Inc. hosts the site and stores the print files, including a commission with your monogram and year. Its servers keep standard request logs, with IP address, for a short period.
• Claid.ai enlarges the painting to print size. It receives the painting only, never your name or your monogram.

Each is bound to use the data only to do that job for us. Some are in the United States, so data may leave the EU or UK; they rely on standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for that.

How long it stays

Order records stay for seven years, for tax. The commission file with your monogram stays as long as the order record, so a damaged canvas can be reprinted. Write to us and we delete anything the law does not make us keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or a limit on its use, and you can object to it. If you are in California you also have the right to know and to delete, and we do not sell or share personal information. Write to support@painted.app; we answer within thirty days. You may complain to your data protection authority.
